I started my career in 2006 helping small to midsize organizations design and manage their employee benefit programs. It’s from this complex insurance world that I began to view culture as a vital organ to a company’s life cycle; not only in terms of healthy, happy employees, but also the organization’s longevity and financial success.
I saw that employers could offer up the best insurance plans money could buy and employees would still have costly lifestyle diseases that often stem from chronic, unchecked stress reactions.
Employees are tired of the old wellness paradigm and often feel as if it’s being done to them rather than for them, so that’s one of the major issues I address.
When I’m not working hard for clients, I’m outside hiking, traveling our incredible country, playing with our animals, or cooking up some whole food nourishment!
